Fantastic patty style burgers, with great feel to the place. The burgers taste great. The menu is short for burgers but the ones they have taste great (I had the classic). The waiting staff were very friendly but did come across as on the up sell for extras. The place has a great feel, with some 'mood' lighting up stairs and an open kitchen downstairs with outdoor seating. The bathrooms we're also clean and tidy.

There are many bests here. The eponymous owner Monty is warm and friendly. The food is cooked to order, the ingredients are fresh and top quality. The first time I ate here I had the Blue Cheese burger on sourdough with Truffle & Parmesan Fries and the taste was explosive.

Burgers are truly excellent - definitely the best burger I've had in a long long time! I opted for a classic with added gherkins and spicy fries... The crunchy sourdough bun is an absolute game changer! Large burger, but not overloaded - held together very well by the bun without falling out the back! Delicious filling. Chunky chips were massive!

Nothing but praise for this place! Been for breakfast twice now, had the pancakes with berries and the vegetarian breakfast…both were absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is great, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning again and again! Have also had a burger and fries delivered, which were also delicious! And more recently had the white chocolate pistachio donuts with my delivery order...hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever had…so indulgent but a nice portion size. Will be hard to resist them every time I visit now!

Best place in town!!! We’ve spend a lovely night here with friends. Everything was outstanding: food, drinks, atmosphere, friendly service. If you want to have the best burger or just to hang out with friends for a drink and good music THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!

Just had lunch here. Great vibe, decor and music. Very friendly excellent service. Now onto the food! My wife and I had the Montys share, this consisted of 3 burgers, classic, chicken and a portobello mushroom burger.and a side of chunky skin on chips. You can have with a brioche or in house baked sourdough bun. We had the sourdough bun and I'm so glad we did!!! Food in one word...AMAZING!!! The portion is more than enough (couldn't finish all the burgers). You can taste the quality of the ingredients. We had the homemade lemonade , delicious. I highly recommend this place. Definitely will be going again...and again.
